Overview

We are consulting on two minor administrative amendments to existing regulatory documents. The proposed changes are intended to correct historical drafting and document-alignment issues and will not change market operations. This consultation covers:

  • The Water Services (Wholesale Charges at Vacant Premises Reform) (Amendment) Directions 2026 
  • A revised Disconnections Document.

WICS welcomes comments from all stakeholders on the proposed amendments and revised documents.

Further, should any stakeholder be aware of similar misalignments or administrative errors within other documents published by the Commission we would request they use this consultation as an opportunity to raise these to the Commission.

How to participate

Responses should be submitted to CompetitionTeam@wics.scot by 3 September 2026. WICS will review all responses received before issuing a final decision.
