Stephanie Capaldi

Senior Manager of Central Office

Heading up our communications and central office functions, Stephanie is responsible for planning, coordinating and communicating the work we do. This includes ensuring that the right people, activities and resources are in place to support our strategy and objectives.

One of our principal authors, Stephanie is also responsible for our stakeholder engagement, media relations and social media presence. She is committed to the candid and transparent communication that is such an important part of our regulatory approach. She manages our consultation responses and is one of the team that manages our corporate brand including our website.

Most recently Stephanie led on our engagement around the SRC21 draft and final determinations, encompassing more accessible formats including videos and animations.

Stephanie writes monthly updates for our Board, ensuring that it is kept up to date on our progress against the deliverables set out in our Corporate Plan. She also manages our information provision including responding to any Parliamentary Questions we receive.

As a WICS graduate herself Stephanie is very well placed to head up our graduate recruitment programme. She designed and implemented our most recent recruitment strategy which has led to a large number of successful appointments in recent years.

Since joining in 2014 Stephanie has held a number of positions within WICS, including as part of the team that delivered training on economic regulation in Greece through one of our Hydro Nation projects, and as a member of the WAREG Secretariat. She was also part of the Open Water team that delivered the launch of the competitive water and sewerage market in England and Wales.

Stephanie has a First Class BA Hons in International Business with Economics from the University of Strathclyde, a member of the Association of Project Management (APM) and is PRINCE 2 qualified.
