Senior Manager of Central Office

Heading up our communications and central office functions, Stephanie is responsible for planning, coordinating and communicating the work we do. This includes ensuring that the right people, activities and resources are in place to support our strategy and objectives.

One of our principal authors, Stephanie oversees all facets of communications, including stakeholder engagement and managing our digital presence. She is committed to delivering transparent and engaging communications that reflect our regulatory approach. Stephanie also manages our corporate and regulatory publications, ensuring that our corporate brand and key messages remain consistent across all platforms.

Most recently, Stephanie led the communications strategy for the 2021-27 Strategic Review of Charges. She developed engaging content, including videos and animations, that simplified complex information and broadened our audience's understanding of WICS’ final determination of charges.

Stephanie is passionate about Scotland’s public sector water industry and the value that economic regulation brings. Her work has showcased Scotland’s leadership in the sector at international events, where she has crafted impactful speeches and presentations in support of the Scottish Government’s Hydro Nation initiative.

Since joining WICS as a graduate in 2014, Stephanie has held both communications and analytical roles, including serving on WAREG’s secretariat. She was also a key member of the Open Water team that launched the competitive water and sewerage market in England and Wales.

Stephanie holds a First Class BA (Hons) in International Business with Economics from the University of Strathclyde. She is a member of the Association for Project Management (APM) and is a PRINCE 2 Practitioner.
