Mark Cassidy is Director of Markets, and is a qualified accountant with extensive experience in finance, economic regulation and cost assessment across regulated sectors.
He joined WICS in 2025 from KPMG’s Power and Utilities team, where he supported price control reviews, regulatory due diligence and business case development for regulated utilities. He previously spent six years at Ofgem, leading electricity transmission cost assessment and advising on network company expenditure, business plans and consumer protection.
Earlier in his career, Mark held senior finance, assurance and regulatory reporting roles across a range of regulated sectors, developing governance arrangements, reporting frameworks and financial insight to support executive-level decision-making.
