I am writing to you under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 to request certain information relating to firms or professionals regulated, registered, or supervised by your organisation.
The purpose of this request is to compile a professional data centre and public-facing online directory designed to help individuals and businesses identify and contact reputable regulated service providers.
I would be grateful if you could provide the following information, where it is available and permitted for public disclosure:
- Firm or practice name
- Registered office address
- Contact telephone number
- Official email address
- Website address
- Regulatory, registration, or membership number
- Main areas of practice or specialisation (if held)
This information will be used solely for the purpose of building a professional directory to assist members of the public in finding suitable regulated services.

In addition to the information provided in the table above , WICS manages the non-domestic retail market framework and grants licences to retailers to operate in the market. Retailers purchase wholesale water and wastewater from Scottish Water then sell these services (along with their own services) to non-household customers. Therefore, it might be helpful for you to also refer to our website for a full list of Retailers. Please note that the list of Retailers will change from time to time as organisations enter and leave the market and therefore our website will be the most accurate and up-to-date source of information.
If you are unhappy with this response to your request, you may ask us to carry out a review by contacting us. Your request for review should explain why you are dissatisfied and should be made within 40 working days of receipt of this response. The review will be undertaken by staff not involved in the original process and we will reply within 20 working days of receipt.
