I am keen to construct a historical timeseries of leakage statistics since the 1980s for England, Wales, Northern Ireland and Scotland. Would you be able to advise on the best way for obtaining this information for Scotland?

We hold leakage information on Scottish Water’s leakage since 2003. It is available on the Annual Returns section of our website, specifically in Table A2.

We do not hold information before this time, as Scottish Water (and WICS) did not exist – water services before this time in Scotland was through three regional authorities. If you require this data Scottish Water might be able to supply it.
