David Satti, previously Director of Strategy and Governance, has been appointed interim Chief Executive and interim Accountable Officer of WICS.
David will take on the role from 20 March 2024 for a period of up to 12 months whilst the process to appoint a permanent Chief Executive is underway. This recruitment process will begin in the coming months.
Donald MacRae, Chair of WICS said: “I am delighted to announce the appointment of David Satti as our interim CEO. David has enthusiastically agreed to take on the important role of leading WICS through the first phase of the Strategic Review of Charges 2027-33 and implementing key responses to the recent Audit Scotland report. Both I and Board Members, look forward to working with David and his team as we progress through this important next phase of work.”
David added: “It is a privilege to take on this role and to have the endorsement of our Board and the Scottish Government. I look forward to working with colleagues within WICS and across the wider water industry in this new role.”
