Our Chief Executive, Alan Sutherland, took part in the New Zealand Infrastructure Commission’s symposium and this year’s theme is all about ‘looking ahead’. Alan gives an overview of Scotland’s regulatory journey and considers any lessons that New Zealand might be able to draw on from our experience.
Alan talks about how WICS is supporting the New Zealand government on its Three Waters Reform Programme – a three-year programme to reform local government’s three waters services into a small number of publicly owned multi-regional entities. He also explains WICS’s work with Auckland water company, Watercare.
