The Acting Cabinet Secretary for Net Zero and Energy has today announced the appointment of Ronnie Hinds as the Interim Chair of WICS. Ronnie Hinds, who has been serving as an Interim Board Member since July 2024, will formally assume the role of Interim Chair on 21 October 2024. The appointment will run until 25 July 2025.
David Satti, Interim CEO said: "As Chair, Ronnie's skills and experience will further support the WICS Board's efforts to shape and steer the next phase of change. We look forward to working alongside him to build on the progress made so far and ensuring that we uphold the high standards expected of us as a public body".
