We would be grateful if you can share the following organisational policies:
- Expenses Policy (including subsistence)
- Travel Policy
- Flexi Time Policy (if applicable)
- Overtime Policy
- Any other relevant policies in relation to travel, expenses and working time
In addition to sharing the above policies, to support the benchmarking exercise, please confirm which of the below is the base location for your employees:
- Single head office
- Multiple regional/local offices. If Yes, please specify how many local offices and if one of them is the head office.
- Home-based
- Other/Mix of locations. Please specify.

Your request asked for the following organisational policies:

It also asked for confirmation of which from the below is the base location for WICS employees:

We have handled your request in terms of the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002 (FOISA). FOISA provides for a right of access to recorded information held by Scottish public authorities.
We disclose our expenses, travel and subsistence policy to you in response to your request – please find this attached.
Under section 17 of FOISA we confirm that we do not hold the following:
- Flexi time policy
- Overtime policy
In terms of location, option 4 is most relevant to WICS. To give you some context, WICS employees have been working from home since covid-19. We are currently in the process of changing our working arrangements to become more of a hybrid solution, where employees can work either from home or from WICS’ registered office.
If you are unhappy with this response to your request, you may ask us to carry out a review by contacting us. Your request for review should explain why you are dissatisfied and should be made within 40 working days of receipt of this response. The review will be undertaken by staff not involved in the original process and we will reply within 20 working days of receipt.
If you are not satisfied with the outcome of the review, you then have the right to appeal to the Scottish Information Commissioner (SIC) and thereafter to the Court of Session on a point of law only. The SIC can be contacted using the details below:
